Joy Tiny Homes Designer Jeanette Joy Fisher

Jeanette Joy Fisher, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) taught Design Psychology, wrote 27 books and textbooks, flipped houses, and was featured on TLC’s Flip That House. She came up with the idea to build Tiny Houses for happiness, which meant rejecting the idea of narrow Tiny Homes on wheels because they feel too cramped, and she doesn’t want to crawl to bed.  Plus, Wheelies & Schoolies get taxed like RVs when you purchase them, cost more to finance, and more to build. Next, Fisher looked into Modular Tiny Homes. They need cranes to install behind houses. What to do? Erect the homes one wall at a time. Build the walls light enough to be carried through small side yards with limited space. A former college Design Psychology instructor, Jeanette founded Joy TV Network, Joy to the Home (Realty & Design), and Joy Publications.
